Mangaro, 65% cocoa, single origin bar

This bar won first prize at the Salon du Chocolat 2003 show. Created exclusively from cocoa beans from the Mangaro plantation in Madagascar. This fine dark chocolate bar is possibly the most exotic of all the Michel Cluizel single origin range. It provides a well balanced range of citrus fruits with an underlying edge of ginger to aid depth and character. One of six single origin chocolate bars created by Michel Cluizel.

Bonnat - Whilst the Madagascar single origin chocolate from Bonnat provides green fruits this particular chocolate certainly has red fruits with its additional lighter perfumed length with a smokey finish. Another fruity dark chocolate from bonnat but with deeper warmer flavours. Flavours intensify with the finish.
